Cranberry Bliss Bar

Cranberry Place Bars - A homemade version of the famous Starbucks dessert! These taste like the original, and are easy to make at home!

* Ingredients :

° 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
° 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, packed
° ° 3 eggs
° 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
° 1 teaspoon ginger
° 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
° 3/4 c dry cranberries, diceed
° 6 ounces white chocolate, cut into pieces or use as chips
° 4 ounces soft cream cheese
° 3 cups powdered sugar
° 4 teaspoons lemon juice
° 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
° 1/4 cup chopped dried cranberries
+ Icing
° 1/2 cup powdered sugar
° 1 tablespoon of milk
° 2 teaspoons vegetable ghee

* Preparation:

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Make the cake by beating the butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth. Adding eggs, vanilla, ginger & salt // blend well. mixing flour to smooth. Mix 3/4 cup of chopped dried cranberries and white chocolate into the mixture by hand. Pour mixture into a well-greased 9" x 13" skillet. Use a spoon to spread the mixture evenly across the pan. Baking about 35 to 40 min 
Combine soft cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla in a medium bowl using an electric mixer until smooth. When the cake has cooled, spread the frosting on the surface of the cake.
Sprinkle ¼ cup of chopped cranberries over the icing on the cake.
Mix powdered sugar with milk and ghee. Sprinkle the frosting over the cranberries in a sweeping motion, or use a soft-tipped pastry bag to sprinkle the frosting onto the surface of the cake.
Leave the cake for a few hours, then cut the cake lengthwise (the long way) to the middle. Cut the cake into slices three times wide, for a total of eight rectangular slices. Cut each of these rectangles diagonally to create 16 triangular slices.
I usually leave the dried cranberries on top and the blended icing just for us.
