Oven-baked chicken breasts in an all-in-one bursting with Italian flavor!
* Ingredients :
° 4 potatoes
° 1 chopped onion
° 1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
° 2 garlic cloves, minced
° 4 skinless chicken breasts
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Chopped thyme
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Chopped oregano
° 1 can diced tomatoes 540 ml
° 45 ml (3 tbsp.) Olive oil
° salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
* Preperation :
Preheaat oven 205 ° C (400 ° F).
Peeled potatoes & cutting them to tranches.
In a 33 cm x 23 cm (13 in x 9 in) baking dish, spread the sliced potatoes. Adding onion, fennel & garlic. Place the breasts on top of the vegetables, then sprinkle with thyme and oregano.
Cover with the diced tomatoes and drizzle with olive oil. Salt and pepper. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the inside of the chicken has lost its pinkish tint.
