Meatball Boats recipe


I love hot dog buns oh chi bakery wallaby, I saw the meatball recipe somewhere so I tried it. And my sister loves it very much. He asked me to make it again :)


* Ingredients :

+ 4 servings
°1/2 kilo minced beef
° 1 large egg
° 1/3 cup rusk
° 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese or any other cheese
° 2 cloves minced garlic
° 1 tablespoon minced parsley
° to taste the salt
° Ground pepper as needed
° 1 tablespoon olive oil
° 2 cups marinara sauce
° 4 hot dog buns or long buns
° cheese for garnish

* Steps :

Preheat the oven to 200°C
In  bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Form into 12 equal sized balls.
In  skillet on heat, heat oil. Cooking meatballs to browned on all sides, for 4 min. & adding marinara sauce and covering with  lid. Cooking to meatballs are no longer pink, about other 8-10 minutes.
Hollow out the top of the cake to make a boat. Place three slices of cheese on top of the roll to cover the hollow area and bake for 5 minutes, until melted. Then place 4 meatballs on top of cheese in a row. Place in the oven also baking for  6-9 min. Grill if wanted .
Top with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired, and serve.
