Meatloaf recipe



* Ingredients :

° 1/2 cup (125 ml) ketchup
° 30 ml (2 tablespoons) brown sugar
° 15 ml (1 tablespoon) Dijon mustard
To prepare the meatloaf:
° 350g (about 3/4 pound) ground beef
° 300 gm minced veal
° 3/4 cup (180 ml) quick cooking oatmeal
° 1/2 cup (125 ml) ketchup
° 1/2 cup (125 ml) chicken broth
° 60 ml (1/4 cup) chopped parsley
° 15 ml (1 tablespoon) yellow mustard
° 2 scrambled eggs
° 1 chopped onion
° Salt and pepper to taste

* Preparation

Heat oven 180°C (350°F).
In a bowl, mix ground beef and veal with your fingers. Combine the rest of the meatloaf ingredients without applying pressure.
Line a 23 cm by 16 cm (9 by 5 in) loaf pan with a sheet of parchment paper, letting the paper hang on the longer sides. Put the mixture into the mold and level the surface.
In another bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Spread the preparation on the meatloaf. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
When out of the oven, cover the meatloaf with tin foil. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Separate the meatloaf by lifting the parchment paper and placing it on a plate. Cut into slices.
