Strawberry French Toast Rolls


°10 slices of bread
°3 bananas thinly sliced
°3-4 tablespoons of butter
°1 tablespoon of sugar
°2 eggs
°3 tablespoons of milk
°1/3 cup sugar
°1/2 – 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
°Granulated sugar


 Heat nonstick skillet on heat & melt for 1 to 1/2 tsp butter. Add the banana slices and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Sauté until golden.
In a bowl, mix the rest of the sugar with the cinnamon and set aside. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and set aside.

Removing bread crust, & flatten slices with  rolling pin. Spreading for 1-2 tsp of banana mix along one edge of bread. Brushing other side with prepared egg wash.
Gently but firmly roll the bread around the banana mixture and seal to make a roll. Keep with rest bread.
Melt about 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Coat rolls in egg mixture and place seam side down. Bake 3-4 rolls at a time.
Once browned, give a quarter turn and continue until all sides are cooked through and golden brown.
Lightly clean the pan with a paper towel and repeat until all the rolls are cooked. Roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot.
